Happy October 1st! It was pretty cold today, but it wasn't rainy, so I was actually able to be outside long enough to appreciate the beautiful fall-colored leaves on the trees. I'm actually considering going out and collecting some to try to preserve for my wedding next year. I saw lots and lots of beautiful colors and I would love to incorporate them into my wedding decor (especially since they're free!). :)

I read that you can preserve leaves and the color won't fade or anything if you dip them in wax.
Hmm, I will have to keep that in mind. I think I'm going to press some in book to see how that goes. If nothing else, I'll just collect fresh next year. :)
