Camera

I'm excited because my new digital camera is on it's way...and hopefully there won't be any problems and it will arrive all not broken and stuff. Because I ordered it online, I ended up spending about $10 more than I would have if I'd gotten it from the store, but I really don't care because it's on its way to me, and I'll be able to use it just the same as one from the store. :)

Wednesday

So, a bunch of us are getting together on Wednesday and going to hang out at the outdoor pool, if anyone is interested in joining us. I'm not sure exactly how fun it's gonna be because you can never predict the weather that far in advance, and you can't predict how many munchkins are going to be in the pool that day, but we'll see. So anyways, if you're interested, come join us! :)

Movies and Halo :)

The last couple of days I've spent hanging with friends; we watched movies and played Halo afterwards. It was lots of fun..especially when we were put in that small room with just the rocket launchers..that was great! I didn't suck like I normally do when we were playing that. :) On Saturday, we watched "The Pink Panther"...it was ok, but Steve Martin's character was painfully stupid, and the movie took a painfully long time to get to the point. It was a decent movie, but I don't know that I'd watch it again. And yesterday, we watched Ghostbusters 1 & 2, which are awesome! That was lots of fun. And we'll have to do that again sometime...while Britt's got the house basically to herself, because I know her mom would never let that happen while she's there...too many people. And I don't really know many parents who could stand to have us play Halo at there house, because we get loud. And Katy gave poor Alex a seizure...actually it was more like 3 in a row, but who's counting, besides poor Alex..?

...

The poor baby bunny didn't make it through the night. I woke up at about 3 am to check on him and he was dead. My mom said that someone told her that wild bunnies rarely make it when they're away from their mommies, and that it has something to do with their hearts. I don't really understand it, but I'm sure it makes sense if you have all of the information. I hate that I failed to keep him alive for just one night, just one. I was going to take him to the Humaine Society after work (at about 11, when I got off) and find the lady with the lactating mommy bunny, and he was going to (hopefully) be ok and live...but not now. I just wish I would have been able to keep him alive...I just hope that the other baby bunny is doing ok. At least that would mean that I had one success, even though all I really did was call my mom and she basically took care of it, going to the Humaine Society and finding the lady with the mommy bunny and all that. I just can't help but feel like I could have/should have done something more than I did, and the bunny would still be alive right now.

Playing Mommy

So, I get to play Mommy today..for a baby bunny. Depot, the cat that lives at the place where I work brought another baby bunny to the store today. This is the second one in two days, and they've both been alive, which is weird for her because she usually likes to eat the bunnies (from what I hear..never experienced it, thank God!!!) The one she brought yesterday my mom took to the Humaine Society and there was a lady there who just happened to have a lactating mother bunny, so she was gonna introduce the baby into that litter. We could have done the same thing for the one she brought today, only I had to work until 6, and the Humaine Society definately closes before that...so I get to play "Mommy" and keep the bunny alive until tomorrow so I can hopefully get ahold of the lady and get her to take this bunny, too. So, I don't know how much sleep I'm going to be getting tonight...hopefully I'm not too cranky tomorrow, but I only work a 3-hour shift, so it should be ok.

Storm

So, Brittany and I were at Arby's feeding our faces after going swimming, and the sky got all dark and grey and the wind was throwing everything around. She and I were wondering if the hanging plant in front of Pizza Hut was gonna be able to hold on or if it would get taken away, too. It's just crazy how the weather can be all warm and humid one minute and the next, everything's being swept past you by the intense wind. But, I guess that is weather for you (I would say that it's "Ohio weather," but we had some unpredictable stuff in Florida, too). I just hope that it all clears up by 5 so that I can get to Christa's birthday party without dying or getting soaked.

Party

I went to Sarah's graduation party today, which was awesome and I think everyone had lots and lots of fun..but it made me realize something. It made me realize how much I want a digital camera. I mean, practically everyone there had a digital camera with them and I have been wanting one for a while but I can't really afford the almost $200 it would cost to get the one that I want. So, now I'm pretty much gonna start saving up for that and kinda put some of the other stuff on hold..at least for a couple of weeks I think. I really want that camera! The reason it's gonna cost so much is that I want the little dockable printer that it comes with so I can print off some decent pictures and such, which will be awesome. I'm sure the paper is really expensive, but oh well...I can handle it I think. At least until school starts up again. ;p

DOOM!!!

I just have to say that Invader Zim is one of the best cartoons to ever be made and I can't believe it's not on anymore. I'll have to go out and buy it...precious. Zim is dumb and he comes up with all of these stupid plans, but that's why it's amusing. And Gir is so cute!!! I want one! Me, Britt, Jess watched about half of the 27 first episodes yesterday..and they were fantastic, of course. I just love it!! *heart*

...work

I didn't think that my job was going to be extremely difficult, and it's not, but I really hate when I have to stand around for 4ish hours with nothing to do. It makes the time drag by and it seems like I've wasted about half of my live waiting for 6 o'clock to roll around. Today was one of those days. I was running the drive-thru all by myself, which isn't bad on a slow day, but today was really slow. We close at 6, and I don't think we had a customer come in after about 5 today. That really sucks for me because I have nothing to do. I get to pace around the store and maybe find something that needs put away or straightened up, but probably not. I was thinking about going swimming today, but by 6, I was too tired and too hungry, and my car is being dumb again (possibly) and I really don't want to over use it until I find out if something is f-ed up and needs fixed.

Fall

I went in to see my advisor today and I had already scheduled myself for Math 105 (some sort of course to help you teach math, I guess) but I was having problems finding a couple other classes that wouldn't kill me to take. Originally I was looking at Biology 101 and History 152 to take with my math, but I decided that would be too much work and I wanted an easier schedule if it could be helped. So, I end up scheduling Geology 100 (which also has a separate lab) and some sort of Communications class. So, I'm going to be there every single day in the fall...*stab* Maybe Geology will be easy since I've already taken Geology H110...? But, probably not.

End Results

I finally got all of my grades in today. I had an A in Classics (big surprise there...not really), a B in English (which is kinda bad for me cuz I'm used to getting A's, but I'm really just glad I survived this course), and (the grade that I was waiting on) a B+ in Geology. I'm so excited that I did so well, because I thought for sure I would have at least a C in Geology because of the crap job I did on the fossil project, but I guess not. Having 2 B's kinda brought my average GPA down a bit, but hopefully that'll be taken care of Fall Quarter. I'm just happy that it's summer and I passed!!!

The End

So, Tuesday I took my finals for all of my classes, and I made it through the day without dying (3 tests in a row is not fun). My Geology professor told us that our grades would be in by Thursday, but guess what, it's Friday, and they're still not posted. I was so excited because my Classics final (my last one) only took about 5 minutes to complete (I spent about another 2 looking over my answers) and I think I got a 100% on it, because the tests in that class are so f-ing easy it's not even funny! So, I know I have an A in that class because it's the only one that's been posted so far. I'm a little nervous about Geology and English...I hope I didn't fail them! So, I get to sit here and wait for my grades, which will hopefully come in this weekend, and pray that they don't suck...yay for me. I need to find some stuff to distract myself with.
