Sun and heat

The sun has been shining for the past 4 or so days and all I've wanted to do was jump in a pool and cool off. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone with a pool (or at least, nobody close enough for me to make the trip over to swim every day). And it sucks that I only live about 3 blocks away from the outdoor pool, but since they don't have a designated swimming area that's deeper than 5 feet, you can't really "swim" there, anyways.

I'm still considering buying a pool pass and working on my tan this summer. Even if I only get to swim on weekends, it'll be worth the $50 for the pass instead of paying $7 a visit, or whatever it is now that they've turned it into a "water park".

We have a pool at our apartment, but its hours are 10-8. I'm at work 1-10 and don't think it's warm enough to be swimming at 10 a.m. Nor do I want to be up that early. I've decided I'm dedicating my days off [Fridays and Saturdays] to living at the pool and getting my tan on, even though those will probably be the busier days.

I wish we had a pool. Those are odd hours. When we lived in Florida, I don't think our complex pool ever closed, lol!
