Holidays

We just got through Halloween and I'm already skipping over Thanksgiving and thinking about Christmas. I really can't help it, though... I have a limited amount of income (because I have other things to pay for -like gas, which is over $3!!!-) and I need to plan everything out so that I can get everything bought before I run out of money.

And I'm really sucking at the whole "saving up money" thing. I keep forgetting to write purchases down in my checkbook (like when I pay my Old Navy credit card bill online) and I always end up withdrawing more than I have in there...ususually only by a few dollars, but then they charge me 3 bucks for having to transfer money over from my Savings account. So, needless to say, there isn't much in my savings right now, and I had been doing really well a few weeks ago.

I want to get a car so desperately but I can't do that if I don't have a little money saved up because I doubt they're going to give me much by way of loans if they see that I never have any money. So, I really need to work on that...but I have so much that needs paid for!

I got informed the other day that my bridesmaid's dress is in and that I need to schedule an appointment for my second fitting, and I want to put some more money down on that so that I don't have a huge bill when I go to pick it up. So, that's going to drain about $50 out of my next paycheck, not to mention the $40 it takes to fill up my gas tank a week. So, that's already almost $150, and my checks aren't usually much more than that (they might be if they ever start paying me the correct amount, but they haven't been lately).

I just don't know what I'm going to do...besides cutting way back on unnecessary expenses and saving up all of my change!
