My Dad came home from the hospital today. I'm guessing they were able to take care of the blood clots that were in his lungs because, when I last heard anything, that's what they were waiting on.

Unfortunately the cancer is back and it's in about 5 different areas, but they're only small amounts of cancer, and the doctors seem pretty confident that the chemo-type drug that Dad's on will take care of those and he won't need to have any surgery for the removal of anything, and I hope that it stays that way! *crosses fingers*

They will be monitoring him often to keep tabs on the cancerous areas, so if anything serious pops up, they should be able to catch it early, which is always a good thing. I think he's going to have visiting nurses come to check on him instead of having to run to the hospital every time they want blood work done or whatever, which will be nice for him.

I haven't really had the chance to talk to him or Mom much since I got home, but I do know that he is glad to be back home, and thanks to all of you who kept praying for him and kept him in your thoughts!
