Yesterday was AMAZING! I sat outside for about an hour and enjoyed the sun while spending time with Jake, his mom, Mary and her friend. Then Margie (Jake's mom) made us an awesome salad for dinner...it had all kinds of good stuff in it. Jake had already left for work at this point, so Mary, her friend and I went and got movies. We watched Pursuit of Happiness, and that was a pretty good movie. Before watching it, I didn't realize that it was based on a true story. We had to stop the movie about half way thru so that we could catch the end of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. The house looked amazing...but they always do.
After the movie, Mary ran her friend home, and I stayed around waiting for Jake to get home. He got there about 5-ish minutes after Mary left, and he brought some pizza bread home with him, so we stuck that in the microwave and ate that. Afterwards, he demolished about half of the muffins that I brought over (I brought 20 over, and he ate at least 5, so half may be a little exagerated, but it seemed like it was about 10 by the time he was done). He probably wouldn't have been as hungry as he was if he'd been able to eat dinner before he left.
So, I think I may have gotten a little sun yesterday. Not nearly enough to make me tan, but maybe I'll have another chance to get out in the sun this weekend...definately not during the week, because I'm stuck inside all day for most of it. But if the weather's good, I might go to the lake on Saturday. :)
