I had an interview today for a work study position on campus. I think I'm working in the office where the Graduate students go to get their social work done (maybe) and I'm basically going to be doing paperwork and all that fun stuff. But hey, the job will pay well and they will definately be willing to work around my class schedule. :) I haven't actually been hired yet, and Carla (the lady that interviewed me) told me she still had one more person to interview before she decided, but she kept talking as if I was already hired, so I'm just going to take that as a good sign. My good mood kinda feel a little bit when she told me she'd like to have a reference, but that was mostly because she wants me to give her my current boss's information so she can talk to him...and I'm a little concerned about what he'll tell her. I'm probably worried about nothing, and I'm thinking that putting the corner of the bucket on a Bobcat isn't really going to be relevant in an office situation, I can't help but think that it will somehow be brought into the conversation... but, other than that, I really can't think of anything bad that my boss could say about me. I did tend to slack a little at the beginning, mostly because I didn't know what all I was supposed to be doing, but I think I'm better at finding SOMETHING to do now. :)
So anyways, I will know for sure one way or the other by next Friday. I just have to e-mail Carla the contact information so she can get ahold of my boss, and they can have a little chat (which I'm hoping goes well) and then I will know if I'm hired or not. :)

Yay for on campus jobs, they make life a hell of a lot easier than trying to juggle it all both places.
