Well, I didn't really have any big party plans, except Jake's parents' party on Friday. That was pretty fun. I dressed up as a gypsy and my costume came together pretty well...I was amazed! I have pics, but it'll take a miracle to get them on my lappy since I can't find the cord that connects my camera to my compy right now. If I ever get that, I'll post the pics. :) I was really happy with how it turned out, though.
On Saturday, I went along with my family, my younger brother's girlfriend, and my friend, Britt, to the Tuttle mall in Columbus (sorry we didn't call you, Jess, but I didn't know if your car was working and we didn't have time to stop by and pick you up because we weren't sure how long my dad was going to last!) and we (my brothers and parents) spent some money and got some clothes and stuff.
It was pretty fun. I ended up spending close to $30 at the Godiva store on chocolate, chocolate-covered pretzels and the bat kitty that the pretzels came with. I also got a really cool pair of black slouchy boots. They were a little under $40, but I thought it was worth the expense because I really like them and they were awesome looking! Oh, and I also stopped in Bath & Body Works and used my $20 gift card and bought 2 refills for my wallflower, 1 in Black Raspberry Vanilla and 1 in Cinnamon Stick. I also got a really neat looking makeup bag and a clip-on air freshener that is Apple Cider scented.
In all, it was a good shopping trip, but I only wish that I would have been able to actually find some clothes. Since I failed at that, I'm planning on going either to the Lima mall or maybe even Cato in Celina this upcoming weekend and trying my luck there. I hope I can find some dressy winter clothes because my dressy wardrobe sucks right now...and so does my winter wardrobe, for that matter.
Oh yeah! Today, when I was at Walmart, I saw a shirt that has the Bumble from Rudolph on it, which says 'Where are the presents?' and the Bumble's head glows! It's really awesome! It's 1 of those thermal-type shirts and it's white with blue snowflakes on it. It's really amazing and I'm glad that I saw it before I left the store!
I can't take credit for the half and half thing...it was totally my friend Jonathan's idea. I'm glad it came together so well though! =)
