I've had all of my classes for this quarter now. I have to say that I'm going to be doing a large amount of reading, but this quarter shouldn't be too bad at all. It always seems that the classes that are only 3 or 4 credits are the ones that involve the most work.
So far, 'Senioritis' hasn't really kicked in, at least no more than is normal for me during Fall quarters. I've been feeling the symptoms of this 'infliction' since I started college, and it doesn't appear to be worsening now that I am actually a senior. That's got to be good, right?
*************************************************************
My English class was cancelled this morning because the prof's daughter was sick. I don't mind not having class, but I do mind that I rushed up to the building this morning because I had thought I was going to be late, only to find out that we didn't even have class today. So, since I didn't have to work until 1 today, I sat in the staff lounge for about 45 minutes and read for my class tomorrow night, and then I decided to poke around the 'Halloween USA' that's in a plaza down the road from the campus. That took a whole 30 minutes up of the hour and 15 or so minutes that I had to wait before work.
I ended up coming back to campus at about 12:30 and just sitting in the office and talking to my coworkers until I was actually 'on the clock.' It would have been so great to just take my time getting ready this morning, maybe do a little extra-curricular reading, and then come into work at 1. But, that's not how things happened, obviously.
