So...

We lost power last night for about 2 hours thanks to the lovely strong winds we were having. Most of the time that the power was out, it was still daylight outside, so we didn't really have to light any candles until about that last half hour of the outage. I was really nervous about having to get up for work this morning because, if the power didn't come back on, I wouldn't have an alarm clock and my phone alarm doesn't always go off.

I didn't sleep very well last night. Even though I didn't have to worry about the power because it came back on around 8:30 pm, it still seemed to take a while for me to fall asleep. So, now I feel tired and I'm stuck at work all day...woohoo.
