Fall '07

I have officially been to all of my classes now. After attending the first class for each of them, I have come to one conclusion: this is going to be a -long- quarter!

Statistics 135:
Another math class that I am forced to take before I can graduate. The professor is Indian and I can only understand about every third word that comes out of her mouth. I've heard that the class is pretty easy, even with the language barrier that exists between teacher and students. It's going to be fun trying to keep up with all of the assignments AND try and figure out what the prof is saying. *stab*

Communications 105:
This is the speech class that I've been avoiding since I started college. I'm really glad that Christa's taking the class with me, even if we're not in the same group...it'll still be nice to see a familiar face in the crowd when I'm up there giving speeches. Speaking of speeches, we have a 2-minute one to give the next class...we're supposed to talk about ourselves, but I have no idea to say. We're also supposed to bring a visual aid that represents something in our past (or whatever) and I have no idea what to bring. I'm not looking forward to this class and I don't know if it will help my public speaking skills. Thankfully I've had the prof before and his other class was really easy, so hopefully this one will be the same.

Chemistry 101:
I really didn't want to take this class, but it was better than Biology. When I was signing up for classes, I was looking foward to this one the least of all, but now it looks like it may be the only class that might potentially be enjoyable, and that's pretty sad. It's going to involve a lot of work, but as long as I stay on top of everything, it should be pretty easy (I'm hoping) and maybe even fun. The only thing I'm not thrilled about is the fact that the Final exam is comprehensive, because I would much rather it didn't cover everything from the entire class, but maybe it won't be as bad as I've imagined.

All-in-all, I'm not really excited about any of my classes this quarter, but maybe Chem will surprise me and be kinda fun? At least I know at least one person in all of my classes...that's always a plus! :)
