Baby blanket

I'm currently working on a baby blanket that I have already re-done about 3 times (this would be the 4th). It's coming along nicely and I really like how it's turning out..I just hope that I have enough yarn to finish it this time because nobody carries that yarn anymore. I started working on it Monday and I'm already about 1/3-1/2 of the way finished with it. That's got to be a record for me. It usually takes me a couple of months to finish a baby blanket, but it looks like I'l be able to knock this one out in a couple of weeks. It will definately be a relief to have it finished, but I really don't know what my next project will be. True, I do have Jake's blanket to work on, but that's going to take a while to finish, and I tend to get "burnt out" on something if I work on it too much/too often. So this blanket's giving me a much-needed break. And hopefully after I finish it, I will be able to make some more progress on Jake's.

In other news. I still haven't heard anything back from the temp agency about any prospective jobs. The lady had mentioned one that was part-time and it sounded really nice, but she wasn't sure if they still needed anyone. I'm hoping that I hear back from them today or tomorrow, and that I can start next week (if the job's still open). It has been nice to have the week off (for the most part) and be able to enjoy a break, but I'm ready to get back to work and start earning some money. Especially now that I have to take my car in for an oil change and a tune up, and that's not going to be cheap.
