Stupid people

I hate it when people come into the office and expect the advisors to be able to help them out right away. We don't do walk-ins (except for the first few days of each quarter)...and frankly, I really don't feel like helping them when they want to encroach on the appointment times that other students have already scheduled for. If it's that damn important, you should have made an appointment instead of just walking in whenever you feel like it, and expecting everyone to stop, drop and roll for you. I wish I could tell them everything I think when they ask if a certain advisor has time to speak to them. And I try to say things nicely...but sometimes I just want to reach across the counter and rip their heads off!!
