Could be worse

So, today I had all my classes. Theatre wasn't too bad..yet. I'm really not liking the whole 8 in the morning thing, but oh well...it could be worse. My professor is Russian and her name is Maria Ignatieva...have fun pronouncing that one. :) I can't understand what she's saying when she turns her head away from me...it sucks..I pretty much only heard about half of what she said this morning because she kept looking towards the TV. And, thankfully, I won't have to act anything out in this class. I don't mind acting, but I think I would really suck at it at 8 am, thanks.
I had Sociology yesterday, which wasn't that bad, and today all we did was take notes and have lecture, which wasn't too bad. This is only the first week of class and the prof already cancelled class for tomorrow. I'm not complaining..I just think it's pretty funny. I'm not sure what his reasoning is behind cancelling..it's probably a family thing, or whatever..I don't know, I didn't ask. So, Soc was the only class I would have tomorrow. I wasn't going to go up to campus tomorrow, but I told Sam that I would read through some article we got in that class so we can discuss it and hopefully, between the two of us, understand something in there. ;) So, I'm going to be doing that, and returning a book that I thought I needed for my HDFS course, but I was mistaken.
And that brings me to my HDFS course, which is Introduction to Child Development (don't ask me what the letters stand for, because I have no freaking idea!). I really don't know what to think about that class yet..but my prof seems pretty cool. She's Korean and her name is Young Ah Lee...pretty interesting name, huh? And she doesn't want us to call her Professor Lee or anything like that..she insisted that we call her Young Ah. But hanyways, she's Korean and so she's accustomed to being asked a bunch of personal questions (apparently in her villiage in Korean they had a public bath, where every person in that villiage bathed together, so everyone pretty much knew everything about everyone..there wasn't much privacy). So she asked us if we had any questions for her about her, and then she told us about the public bath and everyone was kindof disturbed by the idea, but whatever. Hanyways. She seems pretty cool and easy-going...and hopefully she's not a tough grader. ;)
