I dragged Britt to Kohl's after we had dinner with a couple of friends at Western Sizzlin' (for Britt's birthday). I needed to find a present for my cousin's daughter's 1st birthday party tomorrow, and my boss told me that they had some cute books and stuffed animals at Kohl's for the "Kohl's Cares for Kids" foundation/fundraiser, so I decided to check that out.
While we were in the store, I decided to check out the sales and try to find some new shirts at some *hopefully* decent prices. My boss had also given me a coupon for 15% off of everything (even sale items), so I was planning on getting some really good deals today.
Probably the best deal that I got was on a purple coat by Vera Wang that was originally $118 and it was marked down to $23.60. Plus I had that 15% off, so I basically got it for about $21. I thought that was pretty amazing! I wish I could find a pic of it on the website, but I failed at that.
So, I got a couple of shirts, the coat, and the book and plush, and that was all. I wish I would have had a little more time to look through the clearance and sale racks, but it was already 8:20 pm when we headed to the checkout.
What was really awesome was that I was able to buy the shirts and the coat in a "Large" instead of "X-Large," like I usually have to get! It was amazing and it totally made my day/night!!! I hope that I can go back the next time I get paid and find some great deals on capris and shorts for the summer!!
