Horray!

Two of my cousins (actually, their wives/fiances) have had their babies in the last 5 days. We now have a little boy, Aiden (sp?) and a little girl, Madelyn, to welcome to the family. :) My aunt and uncle are going down to Virginia to visit Madelyn and her parents, so I'm going to be house-sitting for them for the next week. That means that I get a little mini vacation from my family. Yay! It also means that I'll be home even less than I was before, so I'll have less time to get all of my stuff done here (like feeding the critters and spending time with my Ming). Oh well. I think that'll force me to do more homework, which isn't a bad thing.

So, we've welcomed 2 more babies into our family and we have 3 more that should be joining us by August. I'm so glad to see the next generation coming around. Before these babies and my goddaugther, Sophie, I wasn't really around when the other cousins were having their kids. I probably won't see these 2 very much, either, but I'm hoping that's not the case with a few of the others.

So anyways. I should definately be doing some homework, but I'm obviously not. I wanted to head over to the library to look for some children's books for one of my classes (I have to make an annotated bibliography) but I don't know if I'm going to make it over there today because I still have a lot to get together and ready for transferring over to my aunt and uncle's house. Maybe they'll be open tomorrow? If not, I'm pretty much screwed cuz the paper's due on Monday...I'll figure something out.

  1. If you don't have to physically have the books in your hand, looking them up online is a great way to just find books that fit into your categy, that way, you can find books in the middle of the night when the library isn't open.
