Update

My Dad's still in the hospital. The doctors think they've figured out what's wrong with him and they're going to do surgery ASAP (basically as soon as a spot opens up at the Columbus hospital and the surgeon is available). I don't know if I can go into what's wrong right now, and I certainly don't want to talk about it on a blog. So, if you really want to know, give me a call or something, and I'll update you as much as I'm allowed.

In other news...there really isn't much going on. I had to pretty much take over my Mom's duties at the family Easter...that was fun. And my Dad's still in the hospital, and I have to take care of my brothers...make them food and make sure they go to bed and all that. And I also have to try and keep up with the chores and stuff. Before this weekend, I had been wondering what it would be like to have my "own place" (if I could handle it or not), and after this week, I don't know if I can just yet. I realize that I wouldn't have all of the responsibilities that I currently have, but it would still be a lot more than I'm used to, so I'm beginning to think that I can't do it on my own...at least not yet. Other than the Dad situation, everything's going okay. School isn't kicking my ass or anything (yet) and I'm keeping up on my homework (but not my reading). Hopefully I'll be able to get caught up on that, but I don't know.
